TikTok denied the claim that the account was hacked
A group of hackers named 'AgainsttheWest' claimed that they hacked TikTok and collected user information and the app's source code. But TikTok authorities denied this claim of hackers.
Denying the hack in a report by The Verge, a TikTok spokesperson said there was no evidence of a security flaw in TikTok. The information that is posted is general user information that can be viewed by anyone. He also said that we have confirmed that the information was not collected by the cyber-attack on TikTok's system, network, or database. And so users don't have to take any initiative to increase security.
According to a report published on the technology website Bleeping Computer, data has been hacked from the TikTok server. Information of more than 200 crore customers has been exposed. The size of this hacked data is about 790 GB.
