Intel's new generation of chips is coming soon
Intel's upcoming chip
Technology giant Intel has announced the release of a new generation of speedy chips in the market. The company claims that the speed of up to six gigahertz can be raised in this thirteenth-generation chip. Intel's claim of six gigahertz speeds has put rival chip maker AMD in the thick of the challenge. AMD announced the 16-core 'Ryzen 9 7950X' flagship processor with speeds up to 5.7 GHz. As a result, Intel has beaten AMD in the speed battle with new processors. Intel's latest generation chips on the market can clock speeds of up to five gigahertz. As a result, experts see the thirteenth version of the Intel chip as a major breakthrough in the fight for speed.
Intel, which once dominated the chip business, has been challenged by AMD in recent years. AMD's chips have become especially popular for gaming PCs. Meanwhile, Intel could not make much space in the smartphone chip business. The company is lagging behind in this direction as well. Although 'clock speed' is not the main determinant of a PC's capabilities; at least in this aspect, Intel has signaled a new fight in the chip business, leaving behind AMD. The company will present details about this chip on September 27. Then more detailed information including price will be known.
